2008 ASA Rule Changes

Run Ahead Rule - Slow Pitch - 20 after three innings, 15 after four innings and 10 after five innings.

Added all adult Slow Pitch (Except Masters and Seniors) to the list of classifications not required to run the bases on over the fence homeruns and four base awards.

All Women's Slow Pitch classification are permitted to steal.

Seniors Only Slow Pitch - The pitcher may take a position from the front edge to six feet behind the pitcher's plate, within the 24" of the pitcher's plate.

In an effort to limit some of the hearsay surrounding the myriad of questions relating to equipment (specifically bats and balls), we would like to offer what’s written below as an official update and hope that each of you find it useful as we start approaching the summer playing season.
