WSL/Miken West Coast Championships - Reno/Sparks, NV

The WSL/Miken West Coast Championships will be held in Reno, NV on October 10-12 at Golden Eagle Regional Park. The tournament will feature Men's B, Men's C, Men's D, Men's Rec and Women's Lower brackets.
Reno and Sparks are the new hosts of the West Coast Championships. This tournament will quickly rival Panama City Beach as the area has the absolute nicest fields to play with the brand new Golden Eagle Regional Park. Golden Eagle Regional Park has six field turf fields and a five thousand square foot restaurant/bar area on the second floor of the concessions building.

World Softball League (WSL) Championships

Men´s A, B, C, D, E, Coed, and Women´s

  • West Coast Championships – October 10 – 12 in Reno, Nevada
  • Mid West Championships – August 22 – 24 in Rochester, Minnesota
  • North American Championships – September 12 – 14 in Panama City Beach, Florida

    • All teams that qualify for the TOC finals.

Slowpitch Softball Stuff

New for the CORP softball complex

Starting in 2008, the CORP softball complex will implement a few changes in order to host and event. 1. Permit request need to be filed at least 2 weeks prior to the event. 2. If you are planning to sell anything at the park please make sure that you file for a concession permit at the Det. Parks and Rec. A certificate of insurance and a health permit must be obtained in order to obtain this permit. 3. Permit holder must turn in a game schedule to the CORP manager for the gates to be opened. 4. For more detailed information please contact Steve Dilda (CORP manager) at or Jon Okada (Hawaii ASA) at 227-8130 Thank you for helping make this complex the best it can be. Your cooperation in the above is greatly appreciated.

Hawaii ASA Slowpitch State Men's Tournament

Men´s Class C and Class D

  • Date: Thursday, July 3rd to Sunday July 6th
  • Teams must be ready to play at 7 pm on Thursday evening.
  • Coaches meeting and tournament draw: Thursday, July 3rd at location TBA.
  • Entry Fee: $295.00 per team
  • Deadline for entry: Monday, June 30th.
  • Rosters: We will have all rosters printed. All players and coaches must present a valid picture ID and receive a wristband to participate.
  • Format: Double Elimination
  • Game rules: ASA Championship rules will apply including uniforms.
  • You must be a Hawaii ASA registered team and have a valid roster on file by Saturday, May 31st. If you do not meet the above requirements then you must file as an independent team (registration form and roster) by May 31st, along with a $25.00 independent registration fee. All independent teams will be automatically classified as a men´s class C team. You may appeal this classification by filing the Classification Appeal form along with your independent registration. You will be notified no later than June 8th.
  • Hooters National Championships

    • The top 2 teams in each Men's class will be awarded a berth to participate in the prestigious Hooters ASA West National Championships
      • Men’s Class C West – Lancaster, California on Labor Day weekend
      • Men’s Class D West – Seattle, Washington on Labor Day weekend

Hawaii ASA Slowpitch 40 & Over and Coed State Tournament

  • Cancelled due to NO UMPIRES!

  • Date: Saturday, May 17th to Sunday, May 18th.
    • This date is subject to change depending on the HHSAA softball state tournament.
  • Deadline for entry: Monday, May 12.
  • Coaches meeting and tournament draw: Time and location TBA
  • Entry Fee: $275.00 per team
  • Deadline for entry: Rosters and full entry fees due by Monday, May 12th.
  • Rosters: We will have all rosters printed. All players and coaches must present a valid picture ID and receive a wristband to participate.
  • Format: Double Elimination
  • Game rules: ASA Championship rules will apply including uniforms. Details to be announced.
  • National Championship berths

    • All participating teams in the Men´s 40–Over and Coed division will be eligible for the ASA Nationals.
    • Coed – LaGrange, Georgia on Aug. 22 – 24
    • Men´s 40 and over – Dallas, Texas on Aug. 22 – 24

  • Team 808 is the 2008 Champion.

  • West National Championship berth

    • The winning team in the women´s division will be awarded a paid berth to participate in the prestigious Hooters ASA West National Championships.
    • Women´s D – Lawton, Oklahoma on Labor Day weekend
